The Mini Laptop are, excelent the desing, the size, and the duration of the batery and the best of all is the price!
the only cons are the Windows 7 Starter Edition, realy SUCKS! is very limited and slow, i buy a 2gb of ram and the mini flys!!!

This is my 7th day on the phone wasting an hour every evening with tech support who are hard to understand. It seems that they do not have process in place to serve the customer. Some support reps are polite, but some of them were very arrogant. My battery died in a month and they told me to submit the proof of purchase. Which is pending for the approval for ever. You will treated properly, but there will be no valuable service in the end. You have to live with your problems. I think whole out sourcing of tech support was bad move. I am not going to have HP in my company anymore.

Here are a few things that i love about this mini
The considerable gap between the keys, yet they're next to each other, this makes fast typo just great. You dont feel that your hands may get hurt... or that youre going to break the laptop.
Event tough is made all in plastic, it feels rock solid, You can feel it with both hands. I love the finishing above the led screen, its so shiny, yet elegant. Im amazed about the speed, considering the fact that it runs windows 7. Love the range of the wi fi antenna... it can show me more networks than my desktop pc. The signal receptions is very above the average. Love the fact that even in some places with no wi fi hotspot, i can connect it to my 3g phone with bluetooth... and do some work and email in the mall, while my family is in a shopping spree. I love the little camera, its decent, and it has a little withe light that enhance yout face in low lighting conditions. Also love the hard drive, it fits my 80 gb music collection.
There is a nice feature (wich you can turn or on off). Its a little linux graphic interface, ideal to avoid the win 7 loading time, its great for getting quick to skype, check yout mail, listen to some music (even the files that you download from itunes, with no drm), and some quick web surfing with no flashing things or stuff like that. Ideal for those moments before boarding an airplane, when you need to turn off the laptop in a really rapid way. Is a very fair price, and i think is going to keep falling.
The other thing that i love is that, below, you dont see any stickers... All is inside under the hood, next to the battery. You get easy access to the hard drive, ram memory, windows license stickers and the serial number. I dont like the battery, it last like 3 hours, but i can live with that.
No carry on case for me, it just fit well in my messenger bag. Its not heavy, but it let you know that you did not forgot her somewhere. The only thing that i regret, is not having purchased some other hp model with bluetooth, nor a wireless broadband connection integrated inside this modem, but it is your choice.
I do some occasional work, like some corporative access, some word stuff, some banking, some emails, etc, on the street. For me is not a big deal hooking up the little usb bluetooth dongle, pair up with my 3g cell phone, and access the internet while i enjoy a nice cup of coffe or tea. I sincerily recommend this netbook,but remember is not a laptop.
